Mud Run

Our latest social fitness event was the Mud Run, this is a 7km run over obstacles, diving in to muddy water, crawling on dirt and in tunnels and sliding down big hills.

This event isn't to be confused with ToughMudder which is a 21km marathon obstacle event, this is 7km of fun!  Our members that attended had a blast!

We started with much enthusiasm, in anticipation of the course that awaits us.  The horn sounded and off we sprinted. The first part of the track was pretty easy, a run across some paddocks.  Then came the obstacles.  We waded through water and jumped along planks and ran on muddy tracks, i've never had so much fun getting dirty and wet!

Our group consisted of personal trainers and members and It took us about 1.5 hours to complete the course, we motivated each other, we ran together as a group, we helped each other through each each section of the course and crossed the finish line.

Congratulations team, we completed the MUD RUN!

A great day out

City 2 Surf 14km Finished!

We participated in the City to Surf again this year and it was a blast. Congratulations to all our personal training members who participated.

I am proud to say that WE ALL finished the 14km.  It was a challenge, but the most fantastic part about setting out to complete this challenge was proving to ourselves that we are stronger than we think.

3km in we were all starting to wonder why we took on this challenge int he first place, some of us wondering if we could even make it half way,

At the 6km mark we realised that we had pushed through and were now nearly half way.

7km mark - we hit half way and were were all still alive.  We realised that if we had come this far, walked and run the first 7km then we can do the final leg.

The hardest point and the most exciting point was the 12km mark, the body is starting to hurt but we are nearly there, 2km go. The personal trainers supported the members and the members supported each other. Our grinches told us we couldn't do it, but we continued on and finished the 14km.

It was an exhilarating feeling.  Remember to join us next year!
